A nonprofit developer, owner and operator of more than 9,000 affordable units nationwide was looking to unlock the potential of the management and operational information in the Voyager database.  Adler PPT was engaged to define the project and develop a suite of management reports that would combine Voyager data, selected external information stored in custom tables, and manipulation of Voyager data to give insight into operational data for better management decision making.

Project Approach

In partnership with Smart Business Solutions, we engaged in a detailed specification process, involving extensive discussions to understand the client needs.  Utilizing a combination of Excel based mockups and actual reports similar in nature to the desired reports, we were able to confirm the requirements and development necessary.  We worked with the client during the testing phase to make sure that the reports functioned as desired, and documented the reports and maintenance of the required external data elements.
